Black Friday Unboxing

What is a minimalist doing making a post about black friday shopping! I know, it's a scandal.  I have been waiting all year to purchase some of these items & I won't have you ruining that! All joking aside people I have an unboxing for you. 
I have done my time researching, & patiently waiting to strike. As a minimalist I don't enjoy clutter or a ton of products, but as an organic beauty enthusiast I enjoy testing out new stuff. In conclusion I made some purchases during the Black Friday weekend via online. No shopping in person for me on Black Friday! Since I work at a second-hand retail store I was unavailable for shopping that day. I tried to contain myself to be reasonable whilst shopping! Trial sizes & just smaller sized products in general were my targets. I have some goodies to share with you & I hope you enjoy!

Nap in the Meadow was something I just had to get! I have tested out Blackstrap Molasses & enjoyed it. I think I'll save my comments about the products for a review post! Each small batch product is made from unrefined, unprocessed, fair trade ingredients. I would suggest getting a trial size or sample to test out before you commit. You get what you pay for definitely, but that doesn't mean it's pocket book friendly!

I can't pinpoint where I heard about Herbivore but I'm excited to try these out. The Rose Hibiscus Toner was the original appeal for me. I have dry sensitive skin & winter doesn't help so I was looking for a new toner. I've been using Thayers' Witch Hazel Rose Petal toner for 2 years now. I still adore it but I like to switch things up! The Brightening Mask was intriguing because pineapple enzymes exfoliate your skin without scrubbing or cakey clay. Facial Oil is my obsession so I thought I would get the trial bundle. I won't be combining these because I want to see how my skin reacts to them separately. Herbivore makes cruelty free, pure, & highly concentrated formulas with active ingredients. No fillers in here!

I like to switch things up since I've been using my DIY serum for 2 years now. I'm glad I received a sample of the Honey Love because I also wanted to test that out. Leahlani makes small batch products  with botanicals, clays, tropical fruits, & Hawaiian nectars. Cruelty free as well!

Let's hear it for that natural summer glow! I know that it's already pretty late into summer but I thought I would show you my tanning essentials. The spring/summer season is upon us and that means vacation time! I'm going on a trip to the beach with my family & thought I would share my natural travel essentials. I would also like to share a couple minimalist packing tips. So lets get into it already! Tip #1 Bring those holy grail never fail products that you always rely on. Trips aren't a good time to test out new products! If you want to pack light bring the tried & true and those multi use products. Tip #2 Planning your makeup looks & outfits for each day will help you keep track of what you really need. Instead of bringing a lot of things you may not use or wear, having a plan gives you more time to enjoy your trip.
